Just in time for opening weekend, Margaret Gray pointed the spotlight at The Other Place (along with other noteworthy shows in intimate theaters) in the Los Angeles Times’ “99-Seat Beat”.

For this week’s beat, Gray focused on shows that showcase how many companies cross-pollinate their artists.

Who is the metaphorical “pollen” involved in The Other Place? Director Matthew McCray, who is also the Founding Artistic Director of L.A.’s Son of Semele Ensemble. Chance audiences will remember Matt’s work from his directorial work on Dogfight and our productions with TACFA in their Broadway in the Park Series.
