Chance Theater was well represented Monday at the 30th Annual LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards Nominee Reception. The Chance delegation included Lizzie, The Musical Director Jocelyn Brown, actresses Monika Peña (Lizzie Borden), Jisel Soleil Ayon (Alice Russell), and Alli Rose Schynert (Emma Borden), along with Costume Designer Rachael Lorenzetti, Executive Producer Guy W. Marr, and last but not least, Chance Managing Director Casey Long.
Our delegation represented Lizzie, The Musical, which received 5 Ovation Award Nominations including:
- Best Production of a Musical – Intimate Theatre
- Direction of a Musical (Jocelyn A. Brown)
- Lead Actress in a Musical (Monika Peña)
- Costume Design – Intimate Theatre (Rachael Lorenzetti)
- Acting Ensemble of a Musical (Monika Peña, Jisel Soleil Ayon, Nicole Gentile, and Alli Rose Schynert)
