Chance Members and Friends gathered on the Cripe Stage on December 12th to get a sneak peek into the creative process for the California premiere of Ride the Cyclone. Season Producers Bette & Wylie Aitken kicked the evening off with a warm welcome to the beginning of Chance Theater’s 25th Anniversary Season. Then, director (and Chance’s Associate Artistic Director) Jocelyn A. Brown talked about her approach to this surreal musical adventure and showed some edited slides of costume inspirations, followed by co-Scenic Designer Antonio Beach showing an early ground plan of how the space will be transformed. Finally, we got to meet the cast (and we even got to watch a couple of exclusive performances).
