The Veterans Speak Up program concluded on December 4th as OC vets shared their personal stories.
Veterans Speak Up invites local veterans to participate in a five to eight-week theater workshop that will culminate in a public performance at the Chance. Through the power of personal narratives, Veterans Speak Up provides veterans the opportunity to share their stories and express themselves in hopes to promote social healing and deepen our communities understanding of our local heroes.
None of this could be done without the gracious support of our donors and partners: The Anaheim Assistance League, Sophie and Larry Cripe in honor of their fathers who are veterans of WWII, and Veterans Outreach OC.
