Congratulations to the amazing TEENS SPEAK UP class of 2020!!
Instead of forgoing a performance to mark the end of Teens Speak Up 2020, the Teens Speak Up students performed their pieces over Zoom! The Zoom showcase was an unconventional way to shine a spotlight on your stories, but their message and passion shone through! We want to thank all of our students for being part of the program this summer and showing their bravery to speak up (from all over the country)!
You’re all wonderful and special and we hope to see you in-person as soon as possible!
Thank you also to our program director Darryl B. Hovis, education director Karen O’Hanlon, program playwright Holly Laveque, and cast mentor Tayllor Johnson.
And a big THANK YOU to all the amazing individuals and organizations whose generosity made it possible to offer complete scholarships to all of the students!
