American Theatre’s list of the 10 Most-Produced plays in 2019-2020 includes two entries from 2015 Chance Resident Artist Lauren Yee.
Among Lauren Yee’s extraordinary plays, her works Cambodian Rock Band and The Great Leap made the list, both with 8 productions each. This fantastic feat is compounded by the fact that “Lauren Yee is only the second playwright to have two different plays appear on the same list. The only other playwright was Martin McDonagh in 1999.”
