After three sold-out performances (and three standing ovations), director Casey Stangl’s intimate reimagining of the Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning musical, Ragtime, is set to open tomorrow night on the Cripe Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center.
The story of this epic musical about America is as relevant today as it was when it first premiered on Broadway in 1998. Following three intersecting storylines in the early 20th century, the musical has amazing music, compelling performances, and at the Chance you’ll be seeing it in one of 99 seats instead of a large Broadway house.
