Returning after SOLD-OUT performances for her previous cabarets for Chance Theater, actress, singer, and songwriter Rachel Oliveros Catalano will returning to the Cripe Stage to perform her 80-minute cabaret, “”Always A Mom.” Known for her warm and versatile voice and honest storytelling, Rachel will be sharing some personal stories and singing vocal selections that range from Broadway musicals to contemporary popular songs. There will be a few surprise musical guests and a live band! Come enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly live entertainment, while supporting our theater in creating a more compassionate, connected and creative community.

Rachel holds an MFA in Musical Theater performance from The Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and a BA in Theater from California Lutheran University.
Roles at Chance Theater include Mother in Ragtime, the Witch in Big Fish, Mrs. Clancy in Fancy Nancy, The Musical, Ladybug in the TYA musical, James and The Giant Peach, Laura in Ted Malawer’s OTR workshop production of Anatomy of Love, Marmee in the holiday hit, Little Women, The Broadway Musical, and Camila Rosario in the Ovation Recommended production of In the Heights. You may have also seen Rachel at the Segerstrom Concert Hall, where she was a soloist with the Pacific Symphony, or on stage as Diana in The Wayard Artist’s production of Next To Normal. Come enjoy Rachel’s cabaret while helping Chance Theater in supporting local artists, empowering young minds, and using the transformative power of live theater to create a more compassionate, connected and creative community.
