I loved the choice of material, creative staging, directing, acting, everything and want to come to your theater again… Also your new venue is great. Now we know how to find you!
It was a great performance. The actors were well prepared and professional.
The show as very well done. The minimal sets and costumes were well used.
Best adaptation of The Little Prince! Very inspirational and emotional.
Just simply AMAZING!
It was a great show. We enjoyed it very much! Actors were AMAZING!!!
Outstanding in every aspect!
I liked the simple and effective staging of the airplane flight and crash, the sunrise and sunsets, the water well in the desert, the rose, and more.
The emotional involvement of the actors was broadway level. The 4 actors did a phenomenal job.
The fox was my favorite character. That actor played so many other characters, too, and all very convincingly. He beautifully captured little habits foxes would have and topped it off with a great French accent. The work as a whole was true to the spirit of the original book, and I enjoyed it immensely.
The actors were very expressive, seemed to really fit their characters, and portrayed each character exceptionally well. Although I loved every scene, my favorite either has to be when the Little Prince tames the fox, or when the pilot eventually comes around to finding his child-like innocence after he and the Prince find the spring in the desert. This was overall an amazing production of the play and I will definitely recommend it to friends!
Your cast and play nailed the story. They delivered a deep story in a way that touched our hearts and moved us to tears. Thank you for sharing your art with us. It was wonderful.
A most perfect interpretation of the original story, exquisite performances by all actors, and delightful stagecraft & effects! The experience was beyond our expectations… bringing some of us to joyful tears!
Excellent. Very impressed with the creativity and aesthetic of the sets and costumes. That, of course, was only icing on the cake of the terrific performances.
Very creative. A 4-person crew representing all roles in the book. Well done.
The actors were superb. The directing so multi-layered. Will stay with me for a long time to come.
Loved the intimate feeling of a small theatre and the actors….wow, I was in tears at the end of the play… as were many around me.
It was wonderful! I loved the set. I also enjoyed the intimacy of the theater. The actors did a fabulous job and the story, of course, is great, always!
Loved the book and your show was very true to it. Actors were excellent. A+ all around.
I had a pleasure of seeing this beautiful production with my husband and our sons. We loved everything about the play starting with the actors. Theirs talent and professionalism were outstanding. In addition the lighting design was incredible. It was so nice to escape from the hustle and bustle into this magical world the actors created. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful production. Thank you…
I LOVED this show. I haven’t been to the Chance in a long time, but they’re obviously still doing fantastic work. Aaron McGee, who played the fox, and just about every other side character, switched seamlessly between accents and personalities as he changed characters, and amusingly captured little idiosyncrasies of actual fox behavior to combine them with a fantastic French accent. Also, all actors were in character the entire time, even though there were many little moments when they were not in the spotlight. Very beautifully done. I also appreciated the work of the costume designer and the person working the lights (the fox was my favorite costume). They both made beautiful and artistic choices very appropriate for the moods of the scenes. In addition, the inclusion of the actual art from the book as a projection, and the aviator’s acting as he drew were so in line with each other. Truly this was a fantastic performance, and it was true to the feel and messages in the book. So much better than the movie!
Enjoyed the use of sound effects with water and snake rattle
The best perfomance I have been to, great work, all of it was great.
Wonderful and intimate performance; definitely wasn’t expecting the different take on the story.
Very enjoyable. The production quality was great and the performances were excellent.
Very creative. Well-directed and beautifully acted. The children’s laughter in the audience was delightful.
I loved to see so many children enjoying the performance. The post-show party was great. Of course, the show itself was wonderful.
I really enjoyed the performance. When I notice myself smiling throughout, I know I’m having a good time. I though Aaron was a particular stand-out as the fox and the men on the planets. I’m usually one who just likes the play to ‘wash over’ me and not have to try to find the meaning, but with this one I think I was getting the message . . . or at least what my version of the message was.
Awesome, and loved the tea party afterwards Adaptation of this book was certainly a challenge. Production was spectacular.
It brought tears to my eyes. Amazing.
The Little Prince is a marvelous classic book, and this production did it credit. The actors were believable and the various theatrical effects were most effective. Couldn’t have asked for a better production.
