Making a triumphant return to the Chance, Fancy Nancy is back for another delightful adventure! Bring the family and watch as Nancy and her friends – Bree, Rhonda, Wanda, and Lionel – prepare for their very first show, Deep Sea Dances. Nancy is absolutely certain (that’s fancy for 100% sure) that she and Bree will be chosen as mermaids. But when another girl lands the coveted mermaid role, Nancy is stuck playing a dull, dreary tree. Can she bring her signature fancy flair to the role, even if it’s not the one she had in mind?
Recommendation: Ages 4 and up. Great for the entire family.

Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome patrons who will benefit from a less restricted audience environment. All patrons are welcome, including but not limited to those with:

Every production I’ve ever seen at Chance has been well done and memorable. Although my child is grown and I no longer have a little one at home, I had the pleasure of attending Fancy Nancy: The Musical with my husband (yes – he came, too!). The Fancy Nancy book series played a special role in my daughter’s childhood, and I fondly remember how engaging and delightful the books were to read together. This production brought all those cherished memories to life with charm and creativity. The performance was lively, fun, and thoroughly entertaining – not only for children, but for adults, as well. I especially enjoyed seeing this imaginative take on the stories, and I left with a smile on my face and in my heart. Though clearly geared toward a younger audience, my 53-year-old self was completely amused and enchanted. I’m already looking forward to the Christmas production. Bravo to the cast and crew – and thank you for such a joyful experience.
