LIVE Event Multi-instrumentalist, Jennifer Sparks made her Chance Theater debut as “Aunt March” in Little Women in December 2022. She is thrilled to be back and a part of the Chance-a-thon 2023! About the show: Scientific research continues to validate the role vibration, frequency and rhythm bring to relieve pain and stress. Vibrational medicine represents the New Frontier of medical and health therapies. Music played on the harp has several unique healing properties. The resonance from the strings, including the range of pitch and tonal color, set up an important relationship between the sound and the recipient. Harp music has soothed, healed and balanced us for thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians and Greeks extolled the power of music, and the harp has long been regarded as an instrument of ‘celestial’ healing. Ms. Sparks’ show presentation will be a “musical massage”, live performance of harp and voice music selections and a harp music meditation, to align the body-mind energies to enhance balance and well-being.
