Supporter Profile

I am originally from Lexington, Kentucky, and graduated from Sweet Briar College in Virginia. I obtained a BS in Economics graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. I married and came to California in 1984, raising my family in Corona del Mar where I still reside.

I had always seen the occasional play, live concert and dance recital but it wasn’t until the late ’90’s that I discovered my passion for the visual arts. I returned back to school to study Art History at CSULB where I became a Board member at the University Art Museum CSULB from 1999 until 2007.

My passion for the visual arts spilled over into theater and symphony in the ’90’s. I joined South Coast Repertory and Pacific Symphony and finally, in 2018, was introduced to The Chance by Laurie Staude, my dear friend and mentor. However, I still claim “newbie” status with theater and classical music as I’m always be learning.

The visual arts have been my passion since the late ’90’s, joining Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) in 1994. I served on the Board of Visionaries, OCMA’s largest support group, serving for several years and was their president from 2010 to 2012. An avid collector of contemporary art, I have been a long time member of Fellows of Contemporary Art Los Angeles where I served as Chair from 2015 to 2017.

I am an avid traveler, golfer and grandmother to four.
