Laurie Smits Staude, in her own words, “loves the Chance Theater and its beautiful and meaningful productions.” She currently serves on the Board of Directors and has been a producer for many Chance productions, including last season’s Rent and Colonialism is Terrible, But Phở is Delicious. Her love for theater and literature shines through in the dramaturgy she does as well as through the plays she produces, often times producing plays that have their origins in books and novels. Laurie is very excited to support the arts and education in every way she can.
