Larry and his wife, Sophie, are avid theatergoers who first attended the Chance in 2009 to see Jesus Hates Me. Larry has served on the Chance Board since 2012. A graduate of Newport Harbor High School, Larry earned his degree in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton. His professional career spans multiple industries, including healthcare, automotive, insurance, banking, and finance, where he worked in accounting, finance, and information systems.
In addition to his corporate roles, Larry was once a co-owner of a martial arts studio and an interactive murder mystery dinner theater, known as Play Mystery Company, which staged productions at South Coast Village.
Now both retired, Larry and Sophie enjoy traveling and attending theater performances. Sophie contributes to the Chance as a dramaturg. They are also actively involved with the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA), with Larry on the National Board and Sophie as the president of the local Orange County society.
