Prepare: 16-32 bars of a song. If there is time, you may be asked for a contrasting song, monologue or to read from sides.
Bring: Headshot, resume and sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
Rehearsals: Begin December 15. Weekday evenings and weekends. There will be time off for Christmas and New Years holidays.
Performances: January 30 – March 8, 2015, Fri 8pm, Sat 3pm & 8pm; Sun 2pm.
Pay Rate: $100 per performance week.
Synopsis: Chances are, you’ve heard of the Loch Ness Monster. But have you met the lady herself? In this whimsical new musical co-written by Marshall Pailet and newcomer A.D. Penedo, a scientist’s young daughter discovers herself — and a small, magical, and very reptilian creature — on the waters of the Scottish Highlands. Developed through our OTR reading series, Loch Ness is equal parts cheeky comedy, heart-warming family drama, and uplifting musical journey.
