Artist Profile
Michael Polak is thrilled to be apart of the West Side Story team. He has choreographed stage violence for La Mirada Theatre, 3D Theatricals, North Coast Repertory Theatre, New Swan Shakespeare Festival, CSUF, UNLV, CSUB, and others as well. As an actor he has worked in New York Off-Broadway at the Mint Theatre and taught at the Shakespeare Lab at the Public Theatre. Regional Credits include: Pioneer Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare, A.C.T., Delaware Theater Company, Philadelphia Theatre Company, The Shakespeare Theatre, Playmaker’s Rep, Ensemble Theatre Company, and Hartford Stage to name a few. He has appeared on Night Watch, The Chronicles of Jessica Wu, The 5th Quarter, Young and the Restless, All My Children, Guiding Light and most recently the feature film 86 Melrose Ave. He received his M.F.A. from Penn State University and B.A. from California State University, Fullerton
