Artist Profile

A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Michael is making his Chance debut with Big Fish. He has appeared in over fifty musicals, working with such diverse artists as Anne Bogart in her production of Spring Awakening and the late Elizabeth Swados in her workshop of The Beautiful Lady. He most recently appeared at the Candlelight Pavilion in The Wizard of Oz and The Sounds of Christmas. Favorite roles include the Baker in Into the Woods, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Smee in the international tour of Peter Pan, and Man #3 in Men! The Musical at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has also appeared in John Waters’ Cry-Baby as a dancing “Drape”. Locally, he has also performed in the Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre productions of Babes In Toyland, James and the Giant Peach, and Alice in Wonderland. He wishes to thank his friends and family for their continued support and dedicates this performance to his father Jim, who has always fought the dragons.
