Artist Profile
Jojo Siu is a costume designer who has worked both nationally and internationally, in film, opera, theatre and dance. She is a huge advocate for diversity and representation, and loves to tell stories, above all. She loves exploring innovative and bold design, and loves creating unique and multi-purpose function in her work. Her work spans several genres, from several world premieres-The Trial of Dedan Kimathi, The Madres–to plays and musicals-Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Importance of Being Earnest, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Joy Luck Club, Eurydice, Evita, Spring Awakening, Bright Star, Grand Night For Singing. She has worked with Musical Theatre West, Sierra Madre Playhouse, Pasadena Playhouse, Perseverance Theatre, and South Coast Repertory, among others, and is so excited to be joining the team for Striking 12 at Chance Theater.
