Dustin H. Chinn is a native Seattleite/long-time New Yorker whose plays include Colonialism Is Terrible, But Phở Is Delicious and Snowflakes, or Rare White People. He’s a recipient of the Mark O’Donnell Prize and an Edgerton New Play Award. Dustin has developed work with the Ma-Yi Writers Lab, Ars Nova Play Group, Ground Floor at Berkeley Rep Summer Residency Lab, A.C.T.’s New Strands Festival, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Hawthornden Castle Literary Retreat, Oregon Contemporary Theatre, Aurora Theatre Company (Berkeley), Tofte Lake Center, the University of Washington via a Mellon Creative Fellowship, UC Berkeley, SPACE on Ryder Farm, and UMass at Amherst New Play Lab. In the past year he’s gone diving in Indonesia’s Raja Ampat and Mexico’s Revillagigedo Archipelago.
