William Crisp is excited to be back at the Chance Theater and to revisit the world of Anne Shirley and Green Gables. Most recently, he was seen on stage as Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at SDRT. Favorite previous roles include Captain E. J. Smith in Titanic The Musical, Herr Schultz in Cabaret, Dom Claude Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Andre Thibault in Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels, Mike Talman in Wait Until Dark, Feldzeig in The Drowsy Chaperone, Don Quixote/Cervantes in Man of La Mancha, Guido in Nine, Inspector Javert in Les Miserables (nominated for Broadway World – LA, Best Leading Actor in a Musical) and Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. He dedicates his performance to the memory of his mother, Shirley Crisp, his biggest supporter and dearest friend. His hero.
