Artist Profile
Anna Jennings is a producer, dramaturg, and director. She received her MFA from the University of Arizona in Dramaturgy where she began her professional career working in the Artistic Department at Arizona Theatre Company in Tucson, Arizona. Most recently, she was the Artistic Coordinator at South Coast Repertory; her SCR credits include dramaturgy for Our Town, assistant director for A Shot Rang Out, and the festival coordinator for the Pacific Playwright’s Festival.
Anna is also a web designer and developer specializing in WordPress and applying dramaturgical practice to the website design process. Her company, Theatrum Mundi, takes its name from the Latin phrase for the concept of “All the world’s a stage…”—and while that is true, she’s thrilled to be at The Chance in a new play process on an actual stage.
