Marketing Internship
Description:
Marketing and Digital Communications Intern reports directly to the Managing Director (MD). Intern has the opportunity to take part in and learn about marketing campaigns in various forms including print, on-line, and social media.
You Will Learn:
- The Life of a Marketing Campaign – from Launch to Success to Analysis
- Basic Marketing Principles
- Website Updating via WordPress
- E-mail List and Marketing Management
- Google Analytics
- How to Write Copy for Digital and Print Marketing Documents
- Special Event Planning and Coordination
- Basic Administrative Skills
Duties May Include but Not Limited To:
- Ticket sales, subscription and donation processing
- Clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, and organizing materials
- Assist at Chance Theater special events and fundraisers
- Assist in reaching out to local businesses for partnerships and fundraising opportunities
- Reach out to group sales prospects
- Help brainstorm and execute subscription campaigns
- Help write copy for brochures, website, e-blasts, letters, promotions
- Help update company website in coordination with Managing Director
- Utilize social networking sites to drive ticket sales
- Help manage email lists and email marketing
- Help Manage Google Grant, Analysis / Research of Google Analytics.
Specific Requirements:
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Comfortable engaging via phone and in person with patrons and community members
- Intermediate to Advanced Computer Competence (Word Processing, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, etc.)
- Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize
- Strong Organizational Skills
