Gaston OTR Reading

by Jenny Connell Davis
Directed By Sara Guerrero

Gaston is a fast-and-loose riff on The Odyssey by way of Austin and New Orleans, with a talking Alligator named Gaston and a trio of weird sisters who make a mean barbecue and just might be sirens. This brand new script from Chance Theater’s 2016 Resident Playwright, Jenny Connell Davis, asks what would have happened if Penelope had gone on the road, and if Odysseus had left to follow a band instead of to fight a war.
