    16. First of all, the opening was a big surprise. I didn’t expect to see what some of us Little Women fans would think was suppose to be later in the play. But as the play developed, I thought it a brilliant idea. Love the fact, that directors and writers change up old stories. The key inner stories were kept true to the original book and movies. My guests, three adult women who loved the story of course and two children (my great-granddaughters age 11 and 8) who can’t stop talking about the play. As for me, I give it an 8 out of 10 and fell in love with the music. My favorite actor was Jimmy Saiz who has a wonderful voice and Ashley made for a wonderful Jo March. Hoping there will be a production next year. Donna

    17. What an amazing series this year ending with a wonderful musical “Little Women”. We enjoyed every bit of the show. The set design was so creative. The period costumes really set the tone of that era. The cast was incredibly strong led by Ashley Nelson as Jo. I also want to acknowledge the casting associates for picking just the right people for the roles. And that goes for all 4 sisters especially Emma Nossal as Beth. Thank you for bringing outstanding theater to our community.

      — Len Fox

    28. I expected the performance to be good- but it far exceeded my expectations. Every single part of it was well executed and on point, every note sung, every movement of the actors, every set piece and lighting cue moved the story along, and swept me away with the characters. I am blown away by the level of theatre that is offered at The Chance. Superb.

      — Elizabeth Ramirez
    29. I was incredibly impressed with the production and was amazed that it was their first preview. It was closing night quality. The entire cast was phenomenal. Emma Nossel as Beth was delightful and wonderfully believable and Rachel Oliveras Catalano was a perfect Marmee. I was wrecked by her performance of Days of Plenty, it was beautiful!

      — Kathleen Switzer
    30. The actors were very professional and so natural and enthusiastic and funny!!!
Also, I lost my young sister (27) many years ago and I was remembering her and remembering how sad it was and how time has healed my loss.

    31. Loved little Amy (Alea) and the actress who potrayed beth

    32. LOVED the small (microphone-free) venue! It was so intimate. I liked how the actors moved around the floor – even out the side doors etc. It made it seem like you (the audience) were in the middle of their world. I also liked that the pianist was partially out in the open, not behind a curtain. He was there all the time, but not distracting.
… Also, Jo stole my heart, she was incredibly believable, her character really pulled me in. Amy was feisty and had such a BIG personality. I loved her character! Thank you Alea Jordan! You were so much fun to watch and made me laugh so hard. You’ve got guts to go up there against the other actors and play such a strong part.
I’ve gone to shows before where I kept looking at my watch, but here, the minutes went by and I didn’t even notice. Such great casting with each character too! Thank you for all your work! I loved it!
Oh, and I also really appreciated meeting the casting director and producer personally. This was very special. Thank you for caring about the audience’s thoughts and opinions. I’d never seen such vulnerability like this before.

      — Julianne Bryson
