Laurie Smits Staude is no stranger to the Chance. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and was the Associate Producer for last season’s After The Revolution, and will be the Associate Producer for A Chorus Line later this season. Laurie did her graduate work in English at Stanford University, was a professor of English for 35 years, and started her career in college teaching, decades ago, as an instructor at North Carolina College, where among other courses, she taught a course in poetry via television. Laurie currently resides in Monarch Beach, and is very excited to support the arts and education in every way she can.
