Chance-a-thon is back and IN-PERSON in 2022!

Every year since 2012, we’ve opened up our stages one weekend every year to the community-at-large to present their own shows. The tickets sold and donations raised are all in support of Chance Theater’s artistic, education, and community programs. In addition to being a successful fundraiser, Chance-a-thon always leaves Chance staff, board, and company members with a strong sense of connection with our neighbors!

3 Ways to Support the Chance-a-thon!

  1. Buy Tickets to a Show
Check out the line-up below of community members and artists who have signed up to put on a 45-90 minute performance! You’ve got a wide variety of shows to see, and all proceeds from ticket sales directly support Chance Theater’s education and outreach programs, local artists, and the development of new plays and musicals.
  2. Make a Donation
Help our Chance-a-thon participants meet their fundraising goal! Simply click on the donate button next to the artist below that you’d like to support. Or, click on the donate button to the right to make a general contribution.
  3. Volunteer at the Chance-a-thon
It takes a lot of people to make the Chance-a-thon a true success! If you’re available on August 27 or 28 and would like to help usher, take photos, or help out in anyway, let us know!

Make a Donation

All of the performers are also asking for donations to support the Chance’s programs. To donate to a specific performance, click on the “Donate to event” button below. Or, you can make a general donation to Chance-a-thon 2022.

The entire Chance Theater Company and Board thank these performers for their generosity and friendship, and thank YOU for showing your support by buying tickets and making donations.

Thank you, and enjoy the shows!

If you’re a lesbian thespian in a production of Grease, you can think straight. You just can’t Pink straight. That’s because theatre is an ensemble of inflection, projection, and rejection. So when Marva—a performer who’s part ingénue, part dreamgirl next door—desires a duet with Winifred, her BFF onstage and off, she has no idea how to go about going from Pink Lady to Pink Lady friend. Will the entrance of Francine, a triply threatening romantic rival, prompt Marva to act on her feelings before the curtain closes on her chances?
