Resident Artists make up the backbone of our company: talented, positive, and professional artists of high integrity who are dedicated to supporting the Chance as their artistic home.

Chance Resident Artists first get involved by serving as a Chance Fellow for a minimum of one year. Auditions and interviews are held twice a year.

Fellow Auditions and Interviews:

All artists applying to be a Chance Fellow must submit a resume, headshot (if an actor), and cover letter to Please include your name, contact information, and a statement of 500 words or less about your specific area(s) of interest and experience in theatre, why you feel the Fellows program is a good fit for your goals, and why you are looking to become integrally involved off stage with the Chance Theater.

All auditions and interviews are by appointment only. Please submit requested materials by the deadline above. There is no Open Call.

For Auditions:
Prepare a one minute contemporary monologue or 32 bars from a contemporary musical. Please provide accompaniment on your phone. Bring a copy of your headshot and resume.
