Resident Artists make up the backbone of our company: talented, positive, and professional artists of high integrity who are dedicated to supporting the Chance as their artistic home.

The first step to becoming a Resident Artist is to serve as a Chance Fellow for a minimum of one year. Auditions and interviews are held twice a year.

Fellow Auditions and Interviews:

All artists applying to be a Chance Fellow must submit a resume, headshot (if an actor), and cover letter to Please include your name, contact information, and a statement of 500 words or less about your interest in the Fellows program and the Chance Theater.

Audition Appointments:
All auditions and interviews are by appointment only. Please submit requested materials by the deadline above. There is no Open Call.

A one minute contemporary monologue or 32 bars from a contemporary musical. You must provide an accompaniment CD.

Headshot, resume, and accompaniment CD (if applicable).
