Wade Williamson

Back to Acting Solo: SEMINAR is “wildly entertaining”

Artist Profile

Wade Williamson was a Resident Artist with Chance Theater for over eight years and was extremely active in the local Orange County theater scene for over 30 years. At Chance Theater, he stage managed the staged “singing” of L.A. Vida and the mainstage productions of Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Seminar, Tribes, Violet, Good People, Tigers Be Still and Next To Normal. A graduate of Cal State Fullerton’s acclaimed School of the Arts Department of Theatre & Dance, he served as an actor, stage manager, director, technician, designer, producer, and even artistic director. He directed plays at Modjeska Playhouse, STAGEStheatre, and Vanguard Theater Ensemble. Acting credits at Chance Theater include various roles in The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales. Wade was also a Board Member for the Orange County Theatre Guild. Wade suddenly passed away in January 2024 and the entire Chance Theater family and greater Orange County theatre family deeply mourn the loss of a true theatre vanguard.

Wade sadly passed away in January 2024.
