Artist Profile
Sophie has a BA and MA in Speech and Theater from the University of Illinois and she taught theater at the high school level. She has also been an actor/dancer and director/choreographer. She served as Board President of the Laguna Playhouse and South Coast Repertory. She is a Member of the National Council of the American Theater and the Literary Managers and Dramaturges of America. This is Sophie’s 14th play to dramaturg for the Chance. She thanks her family for their ongoing support and dedicates her work to the memory of the first actor she saw on the Chance stage..
