Artist Profile

John Wells III was born in San Diego, California, and was raised just north of there in the suburban area of Temecula. John discovered his love for the stage when he was 12 years old and a family friend invited him to audition for a play. From that moment on he has continued his theatrical pursuits. John attended The Savannah College of Art and Design and received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theatre Performance, from California Baptist University. He has been privileged to work with such notable organizations as the Patel Conservatory Theatre, in Tampa Fl, Walt Disney World Entertainment and Universal Studios Orlando. You may have recently seen John in Chance Theatre’s production of A Chorus Line as Mike, Fector in Dogfight in Anaheim as well as the role of T.J. in Musical Theatre West’s production of Sister Act. Other credits include writer/producer of Extraordinary: A New Contemporary Musical, and Life As We Blow It! He is also a proud Chance fellow!
