Education Internship

Description:

Education Intern reports directly to the Education Director (ED). Intern acts as a support to the ED for Chance Theater’s ongoing youth and adult classes, Theater for Young Audiences program, and the teen Speak Up Summer program.

You Will Learn:

  • Research Skills
  • Social Media Outreach
  • Special Events Planning
  • Develop Curriculum-Building Skills

Duties May Include but Not Limited To:

  • Facilitate Activities during Youth Classes and Speak Up
  • Organize and Run Activities for TYA Relaxed Performances
  • Assist in the development of lesson plans and theatre exercises
  • Calendar Management
  • Clerical Tasks such as Copying, Scanning, and Organizing Materials

Specific Requirements:

  • A Strong Background in Live Theatre
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to Collaborate, Analyze and Problem-Solve
