Audition information for MAPLE AND VINE
Open Call: Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17, starting at 7pm

Prepare: Sides will be provided at initial auditions, and are available for download here.
Bring: Headshot and resume.
Rehearsals: Begin August 11. Weekday evenings and weekends.
Performances: September 19 – October 19, Fri 8pm, Sat 8pm; Sun 2pm. Possible extension until October 26.
Pay Rate: $75 per performance week.
Synopsis: Katha and her husband Ryu (a young Asian doctor) have become allergic to their 21st-century lives. After they meet a charismatic man from a community of 1950s reenactors, they forsake cell phones and sushi for cigarettes and Tupperware parties. In this compulsively authentic Eisenhower America, Katha and Ryu are surprised by what their new neighbors—and they themselves—are willing to sacrifice for happiness.
