An instructor/choreographer for over twenty years, Hazel holds a BA in dance from San Jose State University and serves as resident choreographer for Puttin’ On Productions Youth Musical Theater company in Manhattan Beach. Favorite youth and community theater credits include: Chicago, Seussical, Into The Woods, 42nd Street, Drowsy Chaperone, White Christmas, Footloose, Godspell, Legally Blonde, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan. Regional theater credits include: A Chorus Line and Elevada,(Chance Theater), Thrones: A Musical Parody national tour (Right Angle Entertainment). Founder of Kairos Dance Company (est. 2006) modern and contemporary chorerography credits include: Palm Desert Dance Under the Stars Choreography Festival (finalist), Rocky Mountain Choreography Festival (winner), sjDANCEco ChoreoFest (winner), and Kairos’ debut performance of Paradigm: Social Media and its Effects Today (Tim Robbins’ Actors’ Gang). http://www.hazelclarkedance.
